Not just a single flower pot or bushy fern, this delightful [diamond-shaped planter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere) houses a whole ecosystem. This particular model showcases a 20-year-old Japanese bonsai tree accompanied by pebbles, soil, moss and various shrubs and greenery. The scene within is enough to delight the eyes of the observer, but the cage in which it sits is a beautiful object as well. Made from pieces of bare pale maple wood, a complex crystal is formed with many triangular facets. The composition of Terra by Fort Standard allows for an infinite number of compelling views of the [luscious plant life](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley) within. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Indoor Gardening:** Exploring innovative ways to bring greenery and plant life indoors, creating mini ecosystems within interior spaces. - **Eco-friendly Design:** Integrating sustainability and natural elements into design concepts, with products that promote environmental consciousness. - **Multifunctional Decor:** Designing decorative objects that serve both aesthetic purposes and functional uses, such as housing miniature ecosystems. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Creating and marketing decorative objects and furniture that incorporate elements of indoor gardening and eco-friendly design. - **Garden and Landscape Design:** Providing design services and products for creating outdoor gardens as well as innovative indoor gardening solutions. - **Sustainable Design:** Developing sustainable design practices and products that promote environmental consciousness and incorporate natural elements into various industries. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Natural Moss Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petite-foret-plus.md) - [Illusory Planter Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-planter.md) - [Trellis-Equipped Indoor Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blume-planter.md) - [Impressive DIY Terrariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-terrarium1.md) - [Luxurious Minimalist Planter Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-planter-set.md) - [Terrarium Stool Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-stool.md) - [DIY Terrarium Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crackyourown-geode-crystal-terrariums.md) - [Chic Staggered Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staggered-planters.md) - [Handle-Equipped Planter Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-plant-shelf.md)
