The former apartment has been transformed with the use of a little artificial grass, white lines and a net that's been draped across the doorframe. The installation certainly gives new meaning to "[indoor tennis](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lacostes-activations)," and perhaps will encourage viewers to participate in a match or two. The makeshift, domestic tennis court is partially obstructed by protruding walls, making the game a little harder. The artist explains, "Players must find a way to carefully manipulate themselves and the tennis ball throughout the space, paying special attention to domestic objects strewn about, like radiators and windows." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Indoor Sports:** The transformation of everyday spaces into indoor sports venues presents disruption opportunities for fitness and entertainment industries. - **Artistic Installations:** Artistic installations that repurpose familiar spaces create innovative experiences and engage viewers in unexpected ways. - **Interactive Experiences:** The use of interactive installations encourages viewer participation and blurs the line between art and play. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** The integration of unique installations within residential properties can attract potential buyers and renters seeking unconventional living spaces. - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can leverage artistic installations to provide memorable and immersive experiences for their guests. - **Sports and Recreation:** Sports facilities can explore the incorporation of artistic elements to create interactive and visually striking environments for athletes and spectators. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tennis-Forward French Chateaus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domaine-des-etangs.md) - [Modern Tennis-Inspired Cafes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/common-grounds-coffee-roaster.md) - [Floating Recycled Tennis Courts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parley-and-adidas.md) - [Tennis-Ball-Themed Hotel Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ihg-rally-room.md) - [Artful Table Tennis Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nedj-ping-pong-tables.md) - [Celebrative Tennis Courts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/novak-djokovic-court.md) - [Racket-Inspired Tennis Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-england-lawn.md) - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Artist Apartment Conversions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alan-prekop-studio.md)
