Designed with reinforced portions and a solid steel shaft, the Cypress Telescopic Umbrella can also allow for the canvas to be [interchanged to suit your style](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trina-turk) or if you rip it after extensive wear. When not in use, the Cypress Telescopic Umbrella compacts to fit into almost any bag, whereas you can also get a cane-style one that'll work perfectly when you require larger coverage. The independent suspension system on the Cypress Telescopic Umbrella allows it to maintain shape even when the [wind blows strong](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expedition-tent). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Ultra-strength Umbrellas:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop new materials and design techniques to create umbrellas that can withstand strong winds. - **Interchangeable Canvas Umbrellas:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create umbrellas with interchangeable canvas for customizable style and easy replacement. - **Compact and Portable Umbrellas:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Invent new folding mechanisms and materials to create compact umbrellas that can fit into small bags. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Gear:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Redesign outdoor gear, such as tents and camping equipment, using ultra-strength materials for enhanced durability. - **Fashion Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce innovative materials and designs to the fashion industry for the development of stylish and functional umbrellas. - **Travel and Luggage:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design compact and space-saving luggage solutions for frequent travelers, specifically tailored for easy storage of umbrellas. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Expertly Crafted Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-green-umbrella.md) - [OLED Weather Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-umbrella.md) - [Sturdy Heat Relief Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aliz-umbrella.md) - [Connected Dual Functioning Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hulasol.md) - [Space-Inspired Folding Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloombrella.md) - [Ultra-Lightweight Durable Golf Umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/golf-lite-umbrella.md) - [Large Outdoor Parasol Shades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mega-max.md) - [Car Roof Luggage Holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-storage.md) - [Flying Umbrella Prototypes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-umbrella.md)
