Named the Technics SL-1210g, this new turntable boasts a sleek black finish and a user-friendly design. This new record player is the elevated version of Technics' popular SL-1200 range that launched back in the 70s. The design is very similar to Technics' 2016 SL-1200G turntable and features a [direct-drive system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reference-10-turntable) mixed with a new direct-drive motor which is powered by a twin-rotor. This new direct-drive motor is designed to ensure stable rotation - essentially preventing the turntable from stuttering and turning slowly. Thus, producing a high-quality sound and a device that involves little maintenance and technical fixes. The new turntable is also equipped with a [sensitive tonearm](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/michell-audio-turntables) and a silicone insulator that prevents undesired vibrations.
