The raw wood table resembles a found piece of wood that is beautifully flawed and weathered by its natural environment. Giving a unique touch of personality to the wooden home accessory, its gold and silver leafed overlay makes the table stand out as a decorative focal point when displayed in any modern home. Whether adding a rustic touch to a modern loft space or sprucing up a cozy cottage layout, the Teak Root Side Table from Anthropologie is a perfect statement piece for home design lovers with a flair for eclectic style. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Handcrafted Natural Materials:** Opportunity for businesses to create unique and sustainable products by incorporating handcrafted natural materials into their designs. - **Rustic-meets-modern Aesthetic:** Businesses can explore the potential of combining rustic elements with modern design to create visually appealing and unique products. - **Decorative Focal Points:** The demand for decorative focal points in modern homes presents a market opportunity for businesses to create statement pieces that add personality and style. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Incorporating handcrafted natural materials and a rustic-meets-modern aesthetic allows home decor businesses to cater to customers seeking unique, sustainable, and visually appealing products. - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can leverage the demand for decorative focal points by offering statement pieces that combine rustic elements with modern design. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate the Teak Root Side Table and similar products into their projects to create a visual impact and add personality to spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Expertly Woven Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wicker-side-table.md) - [Extravagant Handcrafted Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handcrafted-furniture.md) - [Artistic Juxtaposed Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koroi-side-table.md) - [Raw Cast-Bronze Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corca-side-table.md) - [Rustic Recycled Wood Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/primitive-structures-table-design.md) - [Architect-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/norm-architects1.md) - [Marble Fragment Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miscellaneous-side-table.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceanides-table-collection.md) - [Organic Ancient Design Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earth-to-people-furniture-collection.md)
