Perfect for an evening tea party, the sunshine-powered Teabag Lamp is a realistic oversized version of a real teabag. At the end of the wire "string," a small [solar panel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geolectric-lantern) is disguised as the tag, charging the batteries which power the LED bulbs within the 12” teabag fixture. The "shade" of this piece of [lighting decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-lamp) is infused with actual tea leaves. Designed by car designers Bryan and Anke, the Teabag Lamp is also eco-friendly, having been manufactured from recycled materials. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** Opportunities to develop and market lighting products that are made from recycled materials and powered by renewable sources. - **Solar-powered Light Fixtures:** Opportunities to create and promote light fixtures powered by solar panels that generate their own electricity. - **Food-infused Decor:** Opportunities to produce decor items infused with actual food, offering a unique sensory experience. ### Where This Applies - **Lighting Industry:** Innovative companies can focus on developing eco-friendly lighting solutions that use renewable sources of energy and recycled materials. - **Renewable Energy Industry:** Solar power companies can create more efficient solar panels that can power a range of devices and appliances, including light fixtures. - **Home Decor Industry:** Inventive designers can explore new ways to incorporate food into everyday decor items that can appeal to consumers' senses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Solar Portable Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iggy-lamp.md) - [Sunlight-Mimicking Panelled Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunne-lamp.md) - [Organic Paper-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito.md) - [Origami-Inspired Cubic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/megapuff-lamp.md) - [Traditional Tower-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pagoda-lamp.md) - [Ecological Dual Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-light.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Portable Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parcel-portable-lamp.md) - [Portable Solar-Powered Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kuro-lantern.md)
