This cast-iron tea pot design by the [MoMA Store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/musical-tea-set-toy) is designed to look just like a cantaloupe melon. Tea fanatics can have fun brewing up their favorite loose leaf tea blends in this fruit-inspired pot.

In Japan the cost of a melon can average up to roughly 10,000 yen which is the equivalent to $100 dollars. To commemorate Japan's obsession with melons, the MoMA Store create this unique cast-iron tea pot that is designed to look just like a real-life melon. The tea pot is covered in a texturized green and off-yellow design that is meant to replicate the look of a melon rind. Inside the put is a tea strainer that is ideal for loose leaf tea blends. The pot is also covered in a traditional Japanese-style glazing.
