While some people may think that architect, Terunobu Fujimori has lost his mind, others may think that he is an absolutely genius.

Terunobu Fujimori’s [tea house](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waterhouseoyama) is named Takasugi-an, quite literally meaning “a teahouse too high”. It is one of Fujimori’s projects and stands in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

Built on top of [two chestnut trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/more-cabin), it is only accessible by the ladders that rest ever-so-slightly against the trees.

Designed for his own use, I think it is safe to say that Terunobu Fujimori believes in his work.
