The delicate porcelain lights creatively merge unconventional design with illustrations that draw upon Korean cultural art for inspiration. The lamps, dubbed the Lightning Cups, feature a series of modular landscapes depicted on an upside down tea cup. The landscapes feature illustrations of mountains and the sun,c capturing Soomook-sansuhwa artistry into the lamp's design. The cup is then illuminated using a light source underneath the mug that shines through the ceramic creating an [ambient glow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blossi).
