# Paper-Like LED Displays TCL NXTPAPER 3200-nit Display Combines Brightness with Eye Comfort By Amy Duong | Published 2026-03-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tcl-nxtpaper-3200nit References: [tcl](http://tcl.com/global/en/tcl-nxtpaper-technology) The [TCL](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tcl-smartphones) NXTPAPER 3200-nit AMOLED display is a new [smartphone screen technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartphone-screen-technology) designed to combine flagship AMOLED performance with a paper-like viewing experience. Built on an AMOLED panel, the display reaches peak brightness levels of up to 3,200 nits while supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and full P3 color gamut coverage. The technology layers anti-glare coatings and light-homogenizing films over the panel to reduce reflections and create a softer visual texture intended to mimic the feel of reading on paper. The display also introduces [eye-comfort features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hannspree-hybri-monitor) designed to reduce screen fatigue during extended viewing. TCL says the panel achieves a 90 percent circular polarization rate to minimize glare while lowering blue-light emissions and automatically adjusting brightness and color temperature based on ambient lighting conditions. The concept display was shown at Mobile World Congress as part of a prototype smartphone.
