Taste Buds is an adorable collection of illustrations that shows which types of food go well together. These images give each food or drink a cartoon persona with faces, small stick arms and legs.

Designer and illustrator Philip Tseng created this collection based on common phrases that use food. Phrases such as "you are the [cheese to my macaroni](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m-cacao-fromage-chocolate-collection)" are generic and Tseng wanted to give it some visual context. His illustrations are on display at the iam8bit gallery.

These feel-good foodpairings will have you thinking about how well you and your friends get along. Calling this collection 'Taste Buds' was a play on great friendship. After all, there is no better way to describe a friendship than comparing it to [bacon and eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cracker-pairings), coffee and donuts or pizza and beer!
