# Scintillating Wall Decals The Confetti System 'Tassel Garland' Brightens Home Decor By Jordy E | Published 2012-08-14 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tassel-garland References: [cupcakesandcashmere](http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/shimmering-wall/) Confetti System's 'Tassel Garland' spans a 12 foot long distance, the very type of eye-catching wall decal that one would search for during the holiday season. Author Emily Schuman fully endorsed the hanging piece on her blog [Cupcakes and Cashmere](http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/shimmering-wall/), drawing a flurry of attention to the decor hub. The Tassel Garland design comes in a series of neutral tones with an array of silver, beige, off-white, gold and bronze hues. Schuman pointed out the practicality of this Confetti System product as it can fill large spaces in a single go, largely outdoing the need for [expensive art pieces or light fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb). The NYC-based company also makes the Tassel Garlands by hand. And though the preparation process requires about two to three weeks time, it is well worth the wait. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Handmade Decor:** The popularity of Confetti System's handmade Tassel Garland highlights the demand for unique, artisanal home decor items. - **Large-scale Wall Decals:** The Tassel Garland's ability to fill large spaces in a single go taps into the trend of using wall decals as statement pieces in home decor. - **Neutral Color Palettes:** The popularity of the Tassel Garland's neutral color options showcases the trend of incorporating subtle and versatile hues in interior design. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Artisanal Home Decor:** Confetti System's handmade Tassel Garland represents an opportunity for the artisanal home decor industry to create unique, customizable pieces that cater to individual preferences. - **Wall Decal Manufacturing:** The success of the Tassel Garland highlights the potential for growth in the wall decal manufacturing industry, especially in creating large-scale, eye-catching designs. - **Interior Design:** The popularity of the Tassel Garland's neutral color palettes presents an opportunity for interior designers to explore subtle and versatile color schemes in their projects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Urban Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1.md) - [Removable Stained Glass Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stained-window-decals.md) - [Confetti-Filled Wrapping Papers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confetti-wrapping-paper.md) - [Customizable Holiday Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merry-sparkles-outdoor-decor.md) - [Edible Holiday Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edible-holiday-decoration.md) - [Galactic Children's Wall Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lorena-canals.md) - [Renter-Friendly Wallpaper Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/renter-friendly-wallpaper.md) - [Mid-Century-Inspired Paper House Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-christmas-ornament.md) - [Removable Tile Decals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chasing-paper.md)
