Check out the first-ever indie [tarot for beginners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-unique-tarot) and lovers of the dark circus and carnival genre. 'Madam Clara Sees All' is a [vintage-style fortune teller deck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowerlore-collection) based on Rider-Waite symbolism. Each card has one-card meanings or fortunes both upright and reversed. So, the fortunes read in the direction of the card -- the upright meaning is right side up, while the reversed fortune is upside down. There is so much detail and [symbolism in this deck](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarotinspired-phone-case) and the illustrations are a composite collage of vintage etchings, imagery of iconic statues and great works from around the world. The colors are few -- inspired by vintage style posters that were printed in limited palettes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Indie Tarot Decks:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the market for unique and unconventional tarot decks that cater to specific interests or genres. - **Beginner-friendly Tarot:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop tarot decks specifically designed for beginners, with simplified meanings and clear symbolism. - **Vintage-style Tarot:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Tap into the nostalgia trend by creating tarot decks that incorporate vintage aesthetics and symbolism. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Merge art and divination by creating visually stunning tarot decks that appeal to artistic individuals. - **Entertainment and Recreation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate the tarot industry by introducing interactive digital platforms or mobile apps for tarot enthusiasts. - **Publishing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the market for tarot guidebooks or companion materials that provide comprehensive interpretations for different tarot decks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cartoon-Inspired Tarot Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-kitty-tarot.md) - [Enchanting Tarot Card Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wizard-of-oz-tarot.md) - [Self-Discovery Card Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarot-of-oxalia.md) - [Spiritual Card Decks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bat-for-lashes.md) - [AI-Enhanced Tarot Companions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarot-companion.md) - [Tarot Card Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarot-card-art.md) - [Instant Tarot Readings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taread.md) - [AI Tarot Readings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/online-tarot-reading.md) - [Content Creator Tarot Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarot-with-youtube.md)
