Tara's Londis, a [convenience store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storrd) in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, is providing [free lunch for school children](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holidays-without-hunger) accompanied by a parent, including a sandwich, drink, and snack. The initiative stems from a recent announcement that state-provided [meal vouchers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/feed-the-family-for-a-fiver-campaign) will not continue throughout the entire holiday period.

Raaj Chandarana, the owner of Tara's Londis, took to social media to tell the community about the new initiative. He stated: “We have been serving you guys for 23 years and a lot of the conversations I’ve had with you in recent months tell me that this is really a difficult time, but you are also a little bit nervous to ask for help. Don’t suffer in silence. If we can’t feed you after 23 years, we’re not doing our job properly.”
