Working mostly with graphite on paper, Tucker is inspired by the natural world and draws her subjects with exact precision and a keen attention to detail. At first glance, many of Tara Tucker's drawings could be mistaken for classic [zoological illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-generator) but the addition of [floral gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowerlore-collection) on the animals' backs or the odd mix of combinations (a warthog and two owls) give away the fantastic nature of these pieces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Magical Realism Art:** Opportunity to create magical worlds within realistic art forms. - **Nature-inspired Art:** Opportunity to infuse natural elements into art to express creativity. - **Merging of Artistic Styles:** Opportunity for artists to combine different styles to produce unique pieces. ### Where This Applies - **Fine Art:** Opportunity for fine art marketplaces and galleries to showcase and sell magical realism art. - **Publishing:** Opportunity for publishing houses to commission nature-inspired illustrations and magical realism art for books. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate nature-inspired art and magical realism art into their designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Biology-Inspired Porcelain Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiyuan-xu.md) - [Almost-Extinct Animal Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fauna-series.md) - [Stunning Origami Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/origami-portaits.md) - [Intricate Fiber Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threadwork-women-redefining-fiber-arts.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md) - [Large-Scale Floral Mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floral-mosaics.md) - [Flower-Inspired Vibrant Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/espressionismo-floreale.md)
