# Taped-Up Trees 'Taping Forests' by Studioseventyseven Photography & Swollen Design Mends the Outdo By Marissa Brassfield | Published 2009-12-12 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taping-forests References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/Gallery/Taping-Forests/364070) & [studioseventyseven](http://www.studioseventyseven.com/) These eye-catching trees are part of a series called 'Taping Forests' by Studioseventyseven Photography in conjunction with Swollen Design. According to the designers, they were created as a backdrop for the band The Wounded Knees at the ATP Festival in the UK. 'Taping Forests' is a clever take on the laser light shows that so often accompany live shows. Infusing manmade design principles into nature is something we've seen a lot of lately.
