Its architecture is inspired by [rock formations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drifting-stones) and is meant to evoke all aspects of geology, from mounding to erosion, stratification and fossilization. The Tanzania 'House of Peace' hotel is comprised of two mound-inspired buildings with living green walls and window-mounted gardens that mimic moss and other foliage tucked in the crevices of a mountainside. Glass-paneled corridors will give travelers a sense of walking out into the light, as they might after exploring a cave. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Geology-inspired Architecture:** Opportunity for architects and designers to create unique and innovative building designs inspired by geological elements. - **Living Green Walls:** Potential for the development of sustainable building techniques that incorporate living green walls to enhance the aesthetic and environmental aspects of architecture. - **Glass-paneled Corridors:** Possibility for the creation of immersive experiences by incorporating glass-paneled corridors that simulate the feeling of emerging from a cave into natural light. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Hospitality:** Innovative hotel designs can attract environmentally conscious travelers seeking unique and immersive experiences. - **Architecture:** Architects can explore new design techniques and materials to create visually striking and sustainable structures inspired by natural geological formations. - **Landscaping and Green Building:** Opportunity to develop and implement sustainable landscaping and green building techniques that integrate nature into the built environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rock‑Like Coastal Centers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nature-rocks-visitor-centre.md) - [Pink Plaster Limestone Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ua-house.md) - [Eco-Friendly Luxury Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/land-villas.md) - [Pyramid-Inspired Hotel Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kymaia-hotel.md) - [Eco-Friendly Rainforest Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mandai-rainforest-resort.md) - [Stone Foundation Hotel Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/las-pajareras.md) - [Zenith Retreat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/not-a-hotel-1.md) - [Site-Integrated Safari Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suyian-lodge.md) - [Earthy Tonal Coastal Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mylos-hotel.md)
