The picturesque location is charming and captivating as the team joins heads to transform the idyllic background into a tranquil and harmonious living space. The clients are a couple who spend weekends with their adult children and dog. Wassong speaks about how the home came to fruition, noting “The day this couple found the property they had heard the song ‘Buy Dirt’ by Jordan Davis and knew that this was how all their dreams would come true. It was a sign. They have the lyrics framed in their entryway hallway as a reminder that dreams can come true.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 25% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modern Retreat Homes:** Blending contemporary design with natural tranquility offers new opportunities for luxury weekend getaways. - **Personalized Interior Design:** Creating spaces with sentimental value could redefine client satisfaction and emotional connection to their homes. - **Collaborative Design Projects:** Bringing together architects, designers, and stylists paves the way for more cohesive and innovative home experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Luxury Real Estate:** High-demand for custom-built weekend retreats drives niche markets in upscale property development. - **Home Styling and Décor:** Heightened interest in personalized home décor creates growth avenues in the interior styling market. - **Architecture and Design Collaboration:** Multidisciplinary teamwork can lead to groundbreaking innovations in residential architecture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modernist Modern Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/general-assembly-1.md) - [Functionally Elegant Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/old-westbury.md) - [Palm Springs-Inspired Coastal Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonal-bliss.md) - [Multigenreational Seaside Renovation Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barliswedlick.md) - [Modern Family Home Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/westchester-family-home.md) - [Pyramid-Like Suburban Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oza-sabbeth-architects.md) - [Juxtaposing Contemporary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stony-hill.md) - [Cedar-Clad L-Shaped Beach Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ospreys-landing.md) - [Mid-Century Home Renovation Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-island-house.md)
