Tourism London recently "planted" the 22-foot tall tree which can generate 10,000kw hours of power per year. The world's tallest solar tree will generate enough power in 20 years time to cover its costs, which wouldn't sound too great to me if I was a taxpayer who had contributed to the project's funding.
