The Toronto-based Tallboy App is helping drinkers in Toronto's Trinity Bellwoods park avoid bylaw officers and resulting drinking tickets.

The downtown park is a famously popular weekend hangout, where Torontonians like to relax on blankets, slackline, host drum circles and partake in their day-off indulgences of choice. Although law enforcement in the park is generally lax, once in a while a [conspicuous can holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/can-clip) is punished with a $125 ticket.

With the Tallboy App, users whose [smartphone GPS](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nightlife-finders) indicates that they are currently in the park can mark spots where [bylaw officers are monitoring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/up-2-tonight) or ticketing. Then other boozy Bellwoods visitors can check their map in the Tallboy App and avoid the spot.

The Tallboy App plans to expand to other Toronto parks very soon and may one day help park goers worldwide get peacefully publicly intoxicated.
