# Long-Legged Loungers The EVNI Giant Furniture Collection Features Impressively Tall Chair Designs By Gil Cohen | Published 2013-04-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tall-chair References: [themag.it](http://www.themag.it/inspiration/2013/evni-giant-furniture-collection.html) & [clab4design](http://www.clab4design.com/) Incredibly surreal in appearance, the EVNI Giant Furniture collection by Umberto Dattola features a series of tall chair designs as well as beds and bureaus all perched on long, [wobbly legs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uncomfortable-table). Seeing as these are completely impractical unless you are either a very skinny, but very tall giant, or you enjoy climbing ladders in order to have a seat, this [furniture collection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoom-chair) is better suited to the art galleries than the home. Arranged in a garden as impressive lawn ornaments, the furnishings create an Alice in Wonderland vibe with their bendy legs that seem to have undergone a premature growth spurt. Create a surreal space with the tall chair designs from the EVNI Giant Furniture series. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Surreal Furniture:** Explore the growing trend of surreal furniture designs, such as the tall chair designs from the EVNI Giant Furniture series. - **Art Gallery-inspired Home Decor:** Transform your home into an art gallery with unique and whimsical furniture pieces like the EVNI Giant Furniture collection. - **Alice in Wonderland Vibes:** Channel the whimsy and fantasy of Alice in Wonderland with furniture designs featuring long, wobbly legs like the EVNI Giant Furniture series. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Innovate in the furniture design industry by creating unique and visually appealing furniture pieces, inspired by surreal and whimsical aesthetics. - **Art Galleries:** Collaborate with art galleries to showcase furniture pieces that blur the lines between art and functional design, such as the EVNI Giant Furniture collection. - **Home Decor Retail:** Cater to consumers looking for unique and eccentric home decor pieces by offering furniture collections with unconventional designs like the EVNI Giant Furniture series. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Unconventional Outdoor Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-joy-furniture.md) - [Decorative Gigantic Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yinka-ilori2.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Alternate Reality-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lana-series.md) - [Rope-Like Dynamic Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caterpillar-lounge.md) - [Whimsical Childlike Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternal-child.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Skyscraper-Inspired Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ben-ganz.md)
