# Talking Toilet Paper Program Your Own Message By ElGreco | Published 2008-04-18 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/talking-toilet-paper-holder References: [talkingtp](http://www.talkingtp.com) "Hey Charlie, a little fiber wouldn't kill you." Imagine that this talking voice comes out of nowhere while you're answering nature's call! You would surely be shocked. Besides this talking toilet paper holder being fun, it could become somewhat of an educational experience if you recorded your own voice messages that would play as the toilet paper is being unrolled. You could have messages such as: “Don't forget to [wash your hands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toilet-lid-closer)!” “Please remain seated during the performance.” “This is a bathroom not a library!” “Whoa! Somebody light a match: quick!” “We can hear you all the way in the kitchen!” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 43% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Talking Toilet Paper:** A new trend of interactive toilet paper holders that can be programmed to play custom voice messages, presenting opportunities for branding and advertising in bathrooms. - **Interactive Bathroom Accessories:** A trend of introducing fun and interactive products in public and home bathrooms, creating opportunities for advertising and marketing. - **Smart Bathroom Technology:** The integration of smart technologies in bathrooms to improve hygiene, convenience, and user experience, offering opportunities for innovation in the smart home industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Marketing & Advertising:** The interactive nature of talking toilet paper holders can be a new advertising tool to reach consumers in public and private bathrooms. - **Home Furnishings:** A new product line of interactive and smart bathroom accessories, perfect for home décor companies to tap into the technology trend. - **Smart Home Technology:** The integration of voice-activated and programmable technologies in bathrooms can revolutionize the smart home industry by expanding its capabilities to new areas and improving user experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Endless Toilet Paper Rolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forevr-roll.md) - [Bathroom Privacy Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-privacy.md) - [Health Tracker Toilet Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/throne-one.md) - [Video Game Desktop Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-talking-flower.md) - [Talking Robotic Pianos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chopstix.md) - [Smart Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets.md) - [Festive Bamboo Tissues Papers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stackatree.md) - [Ultra-Soft Reinvented Toilet Paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smooth-tear.md) - [Automated Maintenance Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icleaningo-bidet-toilet-seat-dc02.md)
