The Taiyuan Archaeological Museum is set to be erected in China's Taiyuan Shanxi region. Architect Paul Andreu will work with the [BIAD](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/falling-hours) firm as the project progresses, bringing an interactive civic space to the city's 3.3 million residents.

These rounded red structures are reminiscent of towering flower pots. Those who visit the Taiyuan Archaeological Museum will be separated within the five buildings, standing high above the grounds waterbeds and [lush green gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cmp-inspiration).

The [glass paneling](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-for-architecture) that walls the circumference of the gallery provides the framework with a clean, modern feel. The light that will shine through the walls will illuminate the exhibits and the detailed floor plans in a natural fashion, doing away with the need for expensive lighting equipment.
