This pet tracker is lighter in weight and includes a [temperature sensor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drpetcare-smart-thermometer) that lets you know when your pooch may be in danger of overheating. The tracker can be programmed to send text message notifications if your pet goes beyond a certain pre-determined perimeter, for example a 50 meter radius around the house. It is also equipped with an accelerometer that tracks movement throughout the day. The Tagg GPS Plus is currently available for preorder at $100, which represents a $20 saving off the expected retail price.
