While the shape of the modern cellphone seems to be working for users, Mladen Milic proposes a design with more visible, physical features that can make the device more intuitively functional. Four buttons on the bottom of the 'ECCHELLON X One' enable the user to navigate between screens with more clarity and ease. Meanwhile, a few major components are worked into the back of the handset: a [fingerprint reader](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessible-mobile-technology) is positioned prominently beneath the camera and flash. Finally, you can completely disconnect one corner of this tactile smartphone to more easily your SD and SIM card. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Tactile Smartphone Designs:** Designing smartphones with more visible, physical features to enhance functionality. - **Intuitive Navigation:** Incorporating easily accessible buttons for seamless screen navigation. - **Integrated Functionalities:** Integrating fingerprint reader and card slots into the design of smartphones. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Mobile Technology:** The mobile phone industry can explore innovative designs to enhance user experience and functionality. - **Consumer Electronics:** Companies in the consumer electronics industry can embrace tactile smartphone designs to stand out in the market. - **User Interface Design:** The field of user interface design can adopt new concepts like intuitive navigation for improved user interaction. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rotating Button Panel Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-one.md) - [Keyboard-Intact E-Ink Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-minimalist-phone.md) - [Vibrant Sharp-Edged Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iphone-brutal.md) - [Tactile Smart Home Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/from-design-concept.md) - [Tactile Digital Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-1.md) - [Industrial Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braun-what-if-phone.md) - [Posh Pill-Shaped Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokia-infinity-pro.md) - [Topographical Relaxation Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecue-case.md) - [Simplistic Folding Clamshell Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/01-phone.md)
