Taco Bell has announced the launch of its innovative new restaurant dubbed the '[Taco Bell Defy Store](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/live-ms-cafe),' which is set to open in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The 3,000 square-foot store seeks to meet the needs of the digital consumer, mixing technologies and implementing unique experiential elements.

According to the company, the store represents the “the [frictionless future](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/white-castle-castle-of-tomorrow)" of Taco Bell dining. Key to the restaurant's design is a new [drive-thru concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/techdriven-drivethru). Three to four of the store's drive-thru lanes will be exclusively dedicated to mobile orders from the Taco Bell app and will utilize QR codes at check-in screens. The orders themselves will be delivered to customers via a proprietary contactless lift system. In addition, the store will use two-way video technology to allow customers and staff to interact seamlessly.
