# Easy Dipping Cups The TACA Mug Offers a Mess-Free Cookie Dunking Experience By Meghan Young | Published 2010-08-12 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taca-mug References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/08/10/cookie-crumbles-no-more/) & [entresuelo1a](http://entresuelo1a.com/) I must confess, I’m one of those people who loves to dip their chocolate chip cookies into milk and with the TACA Mug, it’ll become a much easier and cleaner experience. Instead of jamming that cookie that’s always a size too big for your mug, the TACA Mug features an extended lip that better accommodates it. Designed by Entresuelo1a, the TACA Mug’s protruding lip also acts as a convenient grip in the stead of a typical handle. Although this is probably perfect for children, I think I may get a set for myself. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Mess-free Dipping:** The TACA Mug provides a mess-free cookie dunking experience with its extended lip design. - **Improved Cookie-mug Compatibility:** The TACA Mug's protruding lip better accommodates large cookies, enhancing the dipping experience. - **Convenient Grip Design:** The TACA Mug's extended lip also functions as a convenient grip, eliminating the need for a traditional handle. ### Where This Applies - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry can explore innovative designs for mugs and cups that enhance the dipping experience. - **Bakery:** Bakeries can incorporate the TACA Mug design concept to offer customers a mess-free cookie dunking experience in their cafes. - **Children's Products:** The TACA Mug's design makes it suitable for children, presenting an opportunity for the children's products industry to create similar kid-friendly products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Utensil Holding Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1handmug.md) - [Handle-Free Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinch-hold.md) - [Mess-Avoiding Dipping Dishes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dipidup.md) - [Curvaceously Ergonomic Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porcelain-tumbler.md) - [Effortless Tea Brewing Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuptone-teacup.md) - [One-Handed Snacking Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auntie-annes-2.md) - [Customizable Mug Cakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mugsy-mug-cake-mix.md) - [Bell-Shaped Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-mug.md) - [Safety-Focused Drinking Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antichoke-mug.md)
