The defining feature of a table is the raised flat plane on which items can be placed. Tablefields by Frederik Roije is an exploration of this form with a lighthearted extrapolation. Instead of elevating a single panel upon four legs, this piece presents its user with three smaller surfaces for segregating various items.

One sheet of [powder-coated metal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solis-collection) has been folded into a cascading [three-tier table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table) that appears to have been formed from a trio of completely separate panels fastened together. Three legs below the uneven tabletop hold the surface up to a convenient height, making it perfect for placement as a [coffee table](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sharp-table) before a couch. Tablefields by Frederik Roije can be treated like different trays for arranging drinks, reading materials and decorations.
