Nodding to the 60s and 70s, the light fixture presents design lovers with a sleek and streamlined accessory that is playful at the same time. Make a rose-colored statement with this lighting accessory that features pale pink glass and a marbled white base. The piece is created by Brooklyn-based designer Ceci Thompson and casts a warm and rosy glow of pink light. Playing with proportion, CB2's Rosie table lamp design boasts an "[overscaled shade of rose-tinted glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jal) that floats above a cool Carrara-style marble plinth vase." Challenging tradition, this accessory will transform the mood of any space whether it is turned on to emit colored light or displayed as a [sculptural statement piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-table-lamp). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Retro Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create modern designs with a nostalgic twist to appeal to consumers looking for retro-inspired home decor. - **Rose-colored Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lighting fixtures with pink hues to introduce a unique and playful ambiance in various settings. - **Proportional Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Experiment with oversized components and unconventional proportions in accessory design to create eye-catching pieces that defy traditional norms. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate retro-inspired designs and unconventional elements into furniture, lighting, and decor products to meet the growing demand for unique and nostalgic home accessories. - **Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lighting fixtures that incorporate colored glass or innovative materials to create visually striking and mood-enhancing illumination options. - **Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore unconventional proportions, material combinations, and nostalgic influences to push the boundaries of traditional design aesthetics and attract consumers seeking bold and unique statement pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Table Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toto-lamp.md) - [Creature-Like Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pink-robots-won.md) - [Luxurious Futuristic Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/futuristic-table-lamp.md) - [Stylish Retro Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joe-colombo.md) - [Brutalist Bedside Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vestige-lamp.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Mushroom-Inspired Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humble-lights.md) - [Stunning Mushroom-Shaped Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mushroomshaped-table-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md)
