# Rolled Paper Cube Tables KOKUYO Furniture's Roll Table for Kids Lets Them Draw Forever By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2014-05-08 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-for-kids References: [designyoutrust](http://designyoutrust.com/2014/05/roll-table-drawing-work-table-with-infinite-paper-roll/) & [ippinka](http://www.ippinka.com/blog/roll-table/) The KOKUYO Furniture roll table for kids is one that helps to capture and contain drawings to a paper surface, instead of your walls, furniture and any other surfaces kids are likely to claim as their own. The table is like a giant roll of paper, but it's been squared out into a cube-like shape so that it doesn't move around as much as a cylindrical roll would. Underneath the many, many layers of paper is a wooden layer that helps to provide some structure and a table-like shape. With the roll table, the lengths of drawings kids could create is near infinite, but when all of the paper has been used up, you're still left with a functional drawing surface afterwards. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sustainable Kids Furniture:** Opportunity for creating eco-friendly furniture specifically designed for children. - **Interactive Drawing Surfaces:** Potential to develop products that engage children in imaginative and creative play through drawing. - **Space-saving Furniture:** Opportunity to design compact furniture solutions that maximize functionality in limited spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovations in materials, design, and functionality can transform the way furniture is made and used. - **Education:** Integrating creative, interactive learning tools like the roll table can enhance children's educational experiences. - **Art and Craft Supplies:** Development of specialized paper products that cater to the needs of children's creative expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Rolled-Up Wooden Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sofan.md) - [Oozing Cake-Like Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-furniture.md) - [Origami-Inspired Lit Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightup.md) - [Paper-Like Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocoon-coffee-table.md) - [Dynamic Sculptural Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table.md) - [Convertible Kids Ladder Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-helper-tower.md) - [Dedicated Student Storage Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kids-furniture-design.md) - [Wine Storage Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-side-table.md) - [Modular Rotating Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/finding-turn-point.md)
