Hunters are known for notoriously mounting the heads of their kills on walls as a memento, which this [dinosaur](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bitzee-jurassic-world) pokes fun at. The display of a long-since extinct [trophy head](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trumpy-trout) definitely beats the 25-pound bass your friend has posted up on his wall. Measuring in at 14" by 14," this hand-painted polyresin trophy is a great conversation piece you can easily hang on any wall. This hilarious trophy would be the perfect gag gift for a friend or a funny little treat for yourself. Your friends will be impressed with how brave you must be for taking down a T-Rex on your own. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Faux Taxidermy:** Developing faux taxidermy for animals and creatures that are hard to come by for hunting could be a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Humorous Trophies:** Creating humorous trophies that poke fun at traditional hunting could be a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Conversation Pieces:** Designing unique conversation pieces, especially in the form of wall art, could be a disruptive innovation opportunity. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry could explore producing faux taxidermy as a new and quirky way to decorate homes. - **Gifts and Novelties:** The gifts and novelties industry could create innovative and humorous trophies as funny and unique gift options. - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry could develop unique and whimsical conversation pieces in the form of wall art that push the boundaries of traditional art forms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dinosaur Intricate Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-fossils-tyrannosaurus-rex.md) - [Dinosaur Convention Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convention-crasher.md) - [Collectible Dinosaur Desk Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chrome-dino.md) - [Dinosaur-Inspired Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chiasaurus-rex-planter.md) - [Interactive Hatching Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-toys.md) - [Dinosaur-Themed Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-fossils-triceratops-skull.md) - [Dinosaur Fossil-Themed Bong Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-fossil.md) - [Superhero-Themed Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/web-chompin-spider-rex.md) - [Interactive Fossil-Inspired Costumes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-dinosaur-costume.md)
