The [birds nest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-plan-vi-call-duck), which is called the 'Nidus', was designed by BureaudeBank. It is is comprised of 300 individual [silver twigs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swarovski-lunar-new-year), each of which meant to act “as a symbol of their value to the company. Together, the twigs form a nest, a solid and durable structure that represents security, collaboration, future, humanity and nature.” This is a beautiful representation of teamwork that I'm sure the employees will treasure. Each tiny silver twig is presented in a package that includes a pin which converts the twig into a [wearable brooch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bird-on-a-pearl). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/jewelry) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Symbolic Gifts:** Creating meaningful and symbolic gifts that represent the values of a company provides an opportunity for businesses to deepen employee engagement and appreciation. - **Teamwork Empowerment:** Designing gifts that symbolize teamwork and collaboration can inspire employees to work together towards common goals, fostering a sense of empowerment and unity within an organization. - **Sustainable Designs:** Incorporating sustainable materials and concepts into gift designs not only showcases a company's commitment to the environment, but also provides an opportunity for innovations in eco-friendly production methods. ### Where This Applies - **Employee Recognition and Rewards:** The employee recognition and rewards industry can explore the creation of symbolic gifts to enhance the employee experience and foster a positive work culture. - **Corporate Gifting:** The corporate gifting industry can tap into the trend of creating meaningful gifts that go beyond conventional items, offering businesses unique and customized options to strengthen their relationships with clients and employees. - **Sustainable Design and Manufacturing:** The sustainable design and manufacturing industry can seize the opportunity to develop innovative and eco-friendly materials and production processes for creating symbolic gifts that align with the growing demand for sustainable products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Futuristic Curved Islandic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nest-2.md) - [Welcome Gift Design Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earths-hatch-kit.md) - [Experiential Corporate Gift Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corporate-gift-boxes.md) - [Wooden Minimal Nesting Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nesting-boxes.md) - [Greenery-Surrounding Lush Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-house-1.md) - [Elevated Treetop Modern Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buitenverblijf-nest.md) - [Bird-Shaped Food Packagings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bigbilled-bird-food-concept.md) - [Sensory Interior Designed Restaurants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-restaurant.md) - [Sustainable Off-Grid Remote Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daria-sheina.md)
