This piece is a simple entrance coat hanger that looks like a futuristic art piece when not being used for its actual purpose. Created by DESU Design, the Symbol Coat Rack's hooks can be hidden when not in use, allowing for a cleaner and sleeker overall look for your foyer. Made out of anodized aluminum, it might as well be an art piece as well considering its $435 price tag. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Furniture:** Opportunities for creating sleek and multi-functional furniture for those who value minimalist design. - **Concealable Features:** Opportunities for creating products with concealable features that maintain a sleek and modern design while keeping functionality intact. - **Futuristic Home Decor:** Opportunities for creating functional pieces that double as futuristic art installations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** Opportunities for interior designers to create minimalist and futuristic spaces with innovative, multi-functional furniture. - **Home Decor:** Opportunities for home decor companies to produce innovative products that combine functionality with modern and artistic aesthetic appeal. - **Smart Home Technology:** Opportunities for companies producing smart home technology to create products with sleek design and concealable features that fit seamlessly with modern decor. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [Geometrically Shaped Hanger Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triangle-hanger.md) - [Smiley Clothing Wall Hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsahook.md) - [Wall-Mounted Wall Rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto.md) - [Modular Minimal Wardrobe Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koi-cloths.md) - [Quirky Structural Clothes Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hang-we.md) - [Sporty Climbing-Inspired Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grip-hanger.md) - [Rotating Punctuation Mark Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotion-hanger.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md)
