The collection includes an array of adjustable seats coated in sleek [pastel-colored cushions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnus-olesen) and set on a swivel base for easy movement. The minimalistic and stripped down aesthetic offers a much less bulky take on the classic armchair. The collection features two different seat styles that offer a taller and lower back option depending on the consumer's preferences. The seats are modular and comprised of [thick cushioned fabric](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/living-collection) with a triangular shape and much more subtle armrests. The chairs are designed with pod-like shapes that attach to a four-legged base. The chair is able to turn in either direction for easy adjustment. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalistic-chic Armchairs:** An opportunity for furniture companies to create sleek and modern armchairs with a focus on simplicity and style by utilizing unique materials and shapes. - **Adjustable Swivel Chairs:** An opportunity for furniture companies to create chairs that can be adjusted to the user's preference and provide easy movement with a swivel base. - **Modular Cushioned Seating:** An opportunity for furniture companies to offer configurable seating options for consumers to better match their aesthetics, lifestyles, and living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Industry:** An industry that can utilize innovative materials and designs to create functional, comfortable, and stylish furniture pieces with minimalistic-chic armchairs, adjustable swivel chairs, and modular cushioned seating. - **Interior Design Industry:** An industry that can incorporate minimalistic-chic armchairs, adjustable swivel chairs, and modular cushioned seating in their interior design projects for a contemporary feel and comfortable living spaces. - **Home Decor Industry:** An industry that can offer a variety of accessories like coffee tables, rugs, and artwork that would complement the sleek and modern design of minimalistic-chic armchairs, adjustable swivel chairs, and modular cushioned seating. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Commanding Contemporary Swivel Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/occasional-swivel-chair.md) - [Cozy 60s-Inspired Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-dyvlinge.md) - [Versatile Dynamic Armchair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dynamic-armchair.md) - [Colorful Upholstered Rounded Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/max-easy.md) - [Cozy Oversized Cushion Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Gently Curved Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mono-chair-collection.md) - [Quirky Postmodern Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ebba-armchair.md) - [Wooden Framed Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paf-paf-chair.md)
