French's brightly colored art works are incredibly realistic and make observers want to go for a nice summer dip. These playful pool paintings were apparently inspired by Samantha's swim-filled summers growing up. One of these lovely summer inspired paintings features one swimmer gently floating backward while another dives to the bottom of the pool. In another of these gorgeous underwater paintings someone coming up to the surface for air as bubbles escape their partially closed mouth. In these submerged swimmer paintings, Samantha uses mostly [shades of blue, orange and green](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation) to bring these summer portraits to life. On a hot day, there's nothing more refreshing than [jumping into an ice cold pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-tanning-pool). These brightly colored paintings make observers want to do just that. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Underwater Art:** Creating art underwater or portraying submerged subject matter as an artistic trend. - **Hyperrealism:** The trend of producing art that is highly realistic and lifelike. - **Interactive Art:** Developing art that provokes an emotional response and promotes viewer interaction and immersion. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art & Design:** Utilizing new mediums and technologies to create innovative and captivating art experiences. - **Hospitality & Tourism:** Integrating immersive and visually striking artwork into hotel and resort design to enhance guest experiences. - **Real Estate Development:** Incorporating kinetic and interactive artworks into real estate developments to create unique and memorable spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Tile Pool Loungers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cdm30-inflatable-pool-lounger.md) - [Fluid Basketball-Net Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swimming-pools-and-bubblegum.md) - [Colorful Poolside Art Inflatables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cdm30.md) - [Pool-Inspired Tablecloth Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-piscine-tablecloth.md) - [Illuminated Bright Pool Surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vetrite.md) - [Summer-Inspired Photo Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summer-dreaming-collection.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Underwater Pool Window Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hastingssunrise.md) - [Glass Beaded Intricate Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition.md)
