By employing [predictive technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autokeybo), the app is able to forecast what word you likely mean to type next by picking up on your typing habits and the emojis that are paired with messages. This application can be used on [iPhones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emoji-reactions) and [iPads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyetracking-features) that run on iOS8 or later. As well as anticipating what you'll want to express, it helps to provide smarter corrections for typos or even spaces that are missed in between words. Once it picks up on your personal texting style, this app is a handy one to save you from those frustrating auto-corrects. Another awesome feature of this do-it-all app is that Swiftkey is able to make translations from one language to another seamlessly. A recent update now includes 11 new languages from Bulgarian to Turkish. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Predictive Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop predictive technology for various industries, such as healthcare, to anticipate patient needs and improve treatment outcomes. - **Smart Keyboards:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create smart keyboards for specialized industries like legal or medical, which can anticipate commonly used terms and specific jargon. - **Translation Apps:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Build translation apps with predictive capabilities for international business communications, enabling real-time language translation with greater accuracy. ### Where This Applies - **Text Messaging Apps:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop predictive texting features for text messaging apps, allowing users to type faster and with fewer errors. - **Language Learning Software:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate predictive technology into language learning software to help learners anticipate and use words and phrases more effectively. - **Customer Service Platforms:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate predictive keyboards into customer service platforms to enable agents to provide faster and more accurate responses, enhancing customer satisfaction. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI Typing Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aipowered-keyboard-app.md) - [Chatbot-Equipped Mobile Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swiftkey-chatbot.md) - [Re-Introduced System Keyboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swiftkey-1.md) - [AI Writing Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/word-up.md) - [Personalized Emoji Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emojibu.md) - [Keyboard-First Note Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jot-paste-app.md) - [Text Productivity Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/text-productivity.md) - [AI Emoji Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emoji-bot.md) - [Keyboard Layout Assistants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keyboard-layout.md)
