'SweetVinyl,' a music company based in the Silicon Valley, was founded in 2014 by Leo Hoarty and Dan Eakins, two music lovers. In an effort to enhance their listening experience, the two designed the 'SugarCube,' a [sleek device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniot-wheel-3) that takes away the [clicks and pops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flatten-it-machine) on [old vinyl records](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-paron-iii) that are so often heard.

In other words, the SugarCube simply takes out all the unwanted noise that's not part of the music, making for a smoother sound progression. In addition, the device is completely non-destructive, works in real-time and can be easily controlled through the font panel or even an app.

Originally launched on Indiegogo, SweetVinyl managed to surpass its funding goal by more than double -- a testament to the product's appeal to audiophiles. To showoff the immense functionality of the SugarCube, its creators will be present at CES 2017.
