The company updates the original design to feature a more planet-friendly approach with a special patented LED construction. This substitutes the traditional fluorescent light source. As a result, Plumen’s new sustainable light bulbs are “completely dimmable and [have] a lifespan of over 20,000 hours.” Aside from the major development in functional properties, the company’s 001 bulb still retains the aesthetic of its elegant and playful predecessor.
