The Caboche suspension series comes in two styles, one with [transparent spheres](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-glow-light) and the other with gold ones, in addition to a variety of sizes. Rather than jewels or glass, the spheres are composed of polymethylmetacrylate. The new design offers soft lighting, powered by energy efficient LED bulbs. The suspension lights make an excellent addition to a dining room, but could also be used in a hallway. The soft lighting makes entertaining a more intimate experience. The hovering quality of the hanging lamp also gives the decor a vaguely futuristic feel. The small, medium and large versions also allow you to customize the lighting to the space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **LED Lighting:** The use of energy efficient LED bulbs in the Caboche suspension lights offers an opportunity for further innovation in the lighting industry. - **Luxury Decor:** The bejeweled appearance of the Foscarini Caboche suspension lights presents an opportunity for luxury decor brands to create opulent and visually stunning lighting fixtures. - **Futuristic Design:** The hovering quality of the hanging lamp in the Caboche suspension lights highlights a trend towards futuristic design in home decor. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting:** The Caboche suspension lights introduce an opportunity for lighting companies to offer customizable and visually striking options for customers. - **Home Decor:** The bejeweled and futuristic design of the Caboche suspension lights open up opportunities for home decor brands to create innovative and luxurious lighting solutions. - **Hospitality:** The soft lighting and futuristic design of the Caboche suspension lights make them a great fit for creating intimate and visually striking spaces in the hospitality industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md) - [Enchanting Hanging Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hf-series.md) - [Jewel-Inspired Chandelier Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pearl-chandelier.md) - [Blown Glass-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luisa-collection.md) - [Exquisite Textured Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendant-lamp1.md) - [Delicate Illusory Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aria-light.md) - [Curved Pendant Ceiling Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nova-light.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Multifaceted Glass Crystal Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-light-fixtures.md)
