It is a [hanging storage device](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-storage) that is quite similar to cookware ceiling racks. While it can be used for kitchen items, it can also be set in other rooms. For instance, a person can fix it above their desk to [hang their stationary from](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otis-hanger-30), effectively de-cluttering the table surface. The best thing about Suspend by Andrew Dawes, as It's Nice That puts it, "[E]ven the most ubiquitous and unglamorous of day-to-day items are suddenly transformed into hovering treasures." Of course, having a pastel backdrop like the ones in the promotional images may help. Melding function and form together, Suspend by Andrew Dawes is great for [small spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leandesk). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Artistic Storage Solutions:** Opportunity to create storage products that blur the line between functionality and aesthetics, transforming everyday items into artistic treasures. - **Vertical Hanging Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to design hanging storage systems that maximize vertical space and effectively declutter rooms. - **Multi-purpose Room Organization:** Opportunity to develop versatile hanging storage solutions that can be used in various rooms, helping users declutter and maximize space. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Organization:** Potential for disruptive innovation in creating innovative storage solutions for homeowners looking to organize and declutter their living spaces. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture companies to incorporate hanging storage designs into their product lines, providing customers with functional and space-saving options. - **Office Supplies:** Disruptive innovation potential in developing hanging storage solutions specifically tailored for office use, helping individuals organize their workstations and increase productivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Workstation Organizer Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanging-desk-organizer.md) - [Sporty Climbing-Inspired Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grip-hanger.md) - [Wall Art Umbrella Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justin-case.md) - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Precariously Suspended Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-sofa.md) - [Suspended Origami-Like Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sora-light.md) - [Sleek-Designed Household Squeegees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justhang-squeegee.md) - [Sculptural Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-wall-desk.md) - [Quirky Structural Clothes Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hang-we.md)
