Robby has clearly altered these photographs, but he has used elements that appear in everyday life. Although the images are way out there, they are not entirely farfetched to replicate. What further perpetuates this point is how realistic the images look. Robby has used [impressive editing techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/generated-photos1) and really sets up his scenes well. In true [surrealist fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/salvador-dali-x-casetify) the photos feature subject matter of dreaming, gravity defying actions and unorthodox behaviours. It is of curiosity whether these surrealist scenes were manufactured in his dreams or he is just incredibly creative. Either way, they are sure to inspire creative dreams for each beholder. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Surrealist Photography:** Photographers and artists can explore using realistic elements in surreal ways to create believable yet imaginative scenes. - **Advanced Photo Editing Techniques:** Developers and designers can create software and tools to simplify and enhance complex photo editing techniques for artists to use in their surreal creations. - **Dream-inspired Art:** Artists can draw inspiration from their dreams and subconscious mind to create unique and thought-provoking works of art. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Photography:** Artists and photographers can explore new creative opportunities in surrealism by combining realistic and fantastical elements in their work. - **Software Development:** Developers can create workflow automation tools and other features for photo editing software to streamline and enhance the surreal photo editing process. - **Marketing and Advertising:** Brands and agencies can use surreal photography in advertising campaigns to capture attention and create a unique brand image. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Surrealist Shopping Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreams-is.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Surreal Art Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeffrey-deitch-art-gallery.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [AI-Generated Selfies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreambooth.md) - [Surrealist Pop-Up Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surrealist-popup.md)
