Learte and creative director Natalia Molinos, deliver a series of [surreal sculpture ideas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neojomon-biomorphic-fantme) that explore the human condition. Strongly eerie and ethereal, the [capsule draws on vulnerability](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ferro-capsule), "weakness and fragility." Embracing the ominous, dream-like aesthetic of the surrealism movement, NastPlas is able to evoke curiosity and emotion in its audience. The setting of the [surreal sculpture exploration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) is the dessert — a "landscape [that] is almost naked, with a scarcity of vegetation." Juxtaposed with the distorted human component, the backdrop allows for viewers to focus on the centerpiece and potentially decipher the intricacies of its meaning. With a powerful emphasis on color palettes, NestPlas is able to instill a potent feeling. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Surreal Sculpture:** Opportunity to create disruptive and thought-provoking art installations that challenge traditional notions of reality. - **Exploration of Human Condition:** Opportunity to delve deeper into the complexities of human vulnerability and fragility through artistic expression. - **Dream-like Aesthetic:** Opportunity to create immersive experiences that transport viewers into surreal and ethereal worlds, stimulating their curiosity and emotions. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Opportunity for artists and designers to push boundaries and create innovative sculptures that transcend traditional boundaries. - **Entertainment and Events:** Opportunity to incorporate surreal sculpture installations into events, creating unique and memorable experiences for attendees. - **Psychology and Therapy:** Opportunity to use surreal sculptures as therapeutic tools to explore and understand the intricacies of human emotions and vulnerabilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Human Torso-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lene-bdker.md) - [Broken-Aesthetic Sculpture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brokenaesthetic-sculpture-collection.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Sculptural Design Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pure-exhibition.md) - [Material-Accented Dreamscape Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamscape-exhibit.md) - [Mesmerizing Sculpture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mesmerizing-sculpture.md) - [Sculptural Mixed-Media Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes.md)
