Instagrammer Robert Jahns, better known as Nois7, created these majestic [surreal art pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-displays) to showcase the melancholy of everyday life when meshed with other objects. What happens when you mix a buck with a tree? One of the most marvelous looking creatures dreamt up. The photo series doesn’t only focus on animals though as you can see things like a roller coaster flying top speed through a busy, bustling city. Many of the images are mash-ups of animals though and being able to see an elephant with butterfly ears is as amazing as it sounds. The images are [high quality, the colors are bright](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epic-ai-travel-photos) and the theme is magical, no matter the subject matter. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Surreal Photography:** Explore the blending of reality and imagination through surreal photography, creating captivating and thought-provoking visuals. - **Mash-up Art:** Embrace the combination of different elements to create unique and fantastical art pieces that challenge traditional perceptions. - **Melancholic Realism:** Capture the beauty and melancholy of everyday life through artistic photography, evoking a sense of nostalgia and introspection. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Opportunity to experiment with new techniques and perspectives to create surreal and emotionally impactful images. - **Digital Art:** A platform to showcase and explore the possibilities of blending different elements and creating visually stunning works. - **Graphic Design:** Integration of surrealism in graphic design offers opportunities to push creative boundaries and engage audiences with captivating visuals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Otherworldly Wooden Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Sculptural Mall Dreamscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unbounded-sanctuary.md) - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Blurry Abstract Photography Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optical-allusion.md)
