Full of mystery, the images take on abstract forms that encourage the viewer to fill in the blanks themselves. This allows them to connect on a deeper level to each work of art. At once dark and bright, the surreal landscape paintings are full of tension. Giving the rich colors a sense of context, Beautiful Decay writes that many of the structures do appear desolate and futuristic. As written on the blog, "It’s an uncertain, [post-apocalyptic shelter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-with-a-lizard). But unlike the stereotypical gray landscape, Eskubi has created a place of visual splendor."
