Created out of a [former street light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/remli) and carrying a cost of $2,400, this Super Guppy Street light will not be found in every home on the block. Plus, [construction cast-offs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-from-frames) are very cool. I hope this genre of upcycling catches on. The pieces will be amazing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Construction Upcycling:** Upcycling in construction industry provides disruptive innovation opportunities. - **Industrial Waste Upcycling:** Upcycling of industrial waste provides disruptive innovation opportunities. - **Sustainable Lighting Design:** Innovative sustainable lighting design provides disruptive innovation opportunities. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Construction Industry:** Construction industry can benefit from upcycling of materials. - **Waste Management Industry:** Waste management industry can benefit from upcycling of industrial waste. - **Lighting Industry:** Lighting industry can benefit from sustainable lighting design innovation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Glass Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upglas-collection.md) - [Utensil Waste Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys.md) - [Converted Scooter Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emetabolism.md) - [Discarded Theater Screen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/discarded-theater-screen.md) - [Reclaimed Industrial Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wa-lamp.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Upcycled Plastic Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crafting-plastic.md) - [3D-Printed Reversed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolve-lamp.md) - [Woven Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gurunsi.md)
