[SunChips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunchips-solar-eclipse) is leading the green packaging charge with an all-new ad campaign that touts the snack brand's upcoming [compostable chip bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compostable-packaging-concept). According to [Frito-Lay](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunchips-art-seen-packaging), the compostable SunChips bags will be made of a plant-based plastic material called PLA.

SunChips has promised to roll out their compostable packaging by Earth Day 2010. Check out some other compostable creations below.
