# Suicidal Revolvers One-Shot Weapon for Macabre Social Commentary By TrendHead | Published 2009-03-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suicidal-revolvers-a-one-shot-weapon-for-life-tired-individuals References: [ilovebadthings](http://www.ilovebadthings.com/2009/03/one-shot-weapon-.html) & [broccolicity.wordpress](http://broccolicity.wordpress.com/2009/03/16/hatersone-yourselflol/) Now this is one hell of a badass depressing [gun design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandy-hook-promise). Who thinks of things like this? Clearly some very mean, life-tired individuals. This One-Shot Weapon is meant for one thing only, and that is suicide. Perhaps it is some [artist’s way](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness) of commenting on the state of the earth, which I guess is getting so messed up, we might as well all top ourselves. Okay, I don’t want to get all dark on you now. I do believe in peace, changing the world for the better and being positive. We just need to start right now, if it is going to have an impact on our children, and our children’s children. Peace out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Depressing Gun Design:** Opportunity to create innovative gun designs that explore social commentary and provoke thought. - **Commenting on the State of the Earth:** Opportunity to use artistic expression to shed light on the negative impacts of humanity on the environment. - **Promoting Peace and Positivity:** Opportunity to develop products and initiatives that inspire positive change and create a better world. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Artistic Design:** Innovative gun designs can be explored and applied in the artistic design industry to provoke thought and discussion. - **Environmental Conservation:** Artistic expressions can be used to raise awareness about environmental issues in the conservation industry. - **Social Impact:** Creating Peace-promoting initiatives and products can have a positive impact in the social impact industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Satirical Political Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thoughts-prayers-toilet-paper.md) - [Shooting Target Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clockwerk-target-clocks.md) - [Realistic Weaponry Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vir-controller.md) - [Mental Health-Supporting Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-last-photo.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Biometric Smart Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biometric-smart-guns.md) - [Humorous Macabre Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffin-office-chair.md) - [Dramatic Doomsday Bunker Images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper.md) - [Kinetic Art Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-machine.md)
