Architect Barkow Leibinger designed this unique structure titled 'Thicket Pavilion Study 2.0.' The pavilion was constructed to create a semi-secluded room. The walls of the pavilion are made of [steel rods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wire-mesh) that are designed to mimic thickets. The entire structure is surrounded with these rods, which provides only a partial view to the interior.

For those inside the pavilion, the main goal is to create the feeling of being isolated. The space was erected to provide an interesting [public meeting space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/radius-transformation-pavilion) to blur the lines between reality and imagination.

The Thicket Pavilion Study 2.0 is a [stand-alone platform](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pujiang-platform-hill) that can be placed in any space from offices to parks. Barkow Leibinger himself says the "pavilion acts as a stage, a refuge, and a visually stimulating phenomenon."
