It is also defined by its [brick-clad construction](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stanfordville-house) outside and it [rests on a hill](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house) that opens up to [views of a meadow and lake](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house). The home is located in Prince Edward County's Cherry Valley community. The studio explains that the home is "Characterized by an intricate coastline and a burgeoning wine-making industry, the landscape and sense of place can be distilled to fields and shoreline. Large windows on the water side frame views of the shore, while panoramic windows at ground level facing the meadow offer a vantage point to the 'field. This panoramic view immerses the viewer in the landscape rather than placing them on top of it."
