Think of the StressVest as a high-tech version of [laser tag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rebuff-reality-bodylink) that's for grown-ups. It was originally created for [military and police training](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shooting-system), but now it's making its way to households. I should mention that you WILL get hurt if you decided to engage in a game of cops and robbers. Depending on the setting, you either get a [vibration or 4,500 volts of shock](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touchpoint-solution) if you get shot at by the laser insert that goes into an actual gun. Don't worry, the shock is adjustable; therefore those who have a low threshold for pain can relax because it's not 4,500 volts every time. You do need to register for a federal ID number before you buy this, but it's worth it if you really want to duke it out. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **High-tech Laser Tag Gear:** Opportunity for innovation in creating more advanced laser tag gear for adults. - **Laser Technology for Training:** Opportunity to use laser technology for training purposes in other industries, such as sports and entertainment. - **Adjustable Shock Technology:** Opportunity to utilize adjustable shock technology in other areas, such as medical devices. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Entertainment:** This industry can benefit from creating more advanced laser tag gear for adults. - **Sports Training:** Laser technology can be utilized in the sports industry for training purposes. - **Medical Devices:** Adjustable shock technology can be used in the development of new medical devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Haptic Response Gamer Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/owo-haptic-vest.md) - [Metaverse-Ready Bodysuits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shockwave-vr.md) - [Full-Body Pain Relief Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-super-vest.md) - [Haptic Workout Gaming Gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elecsuit.md) - [Camera-Equipped Exercise Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-urban-eyes-vest.md) - [Discreet Portable Tasers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taser-device.md) - [Haptic Feedback VR Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/owo-vest.md) - [Adult-Targeted Foam Disc Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disc-blaster.md) - [Collaborative Haptic Feedback Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/subpac-beat-saber.md)
